Cookie policy
This policy explains what information the AtomicBI website stores in your browser, what it is used for and how you can change your mind at any time. It is provided under Article 122 of the Italian Personal Data Protection Code and the guidelines of the Garante on cookies and other tracking tools.
The short version
This website does not use profiling cookies, does not use third party cookies and does not load resources from external domains. It stores only two pieces of information in your browser local storage, one to remember your cookie choice and one to remember the language. Neither ever leaves your device.
Cookies and local storage, the difference
A cookie is a small file that a website asks the browser to save and that is sent back to the server with every subsequent request. Local storage, by contrast, is a space in the browser where a page can write information that stays on the device and is not automatically sent to any server.
This website does not set cookies. It only uses local storage. The consent rules remain the same regardless, because the law refers to information stored on the user device whatever technology is used, and we apply it in full.

There are no other entries. If you open the browser developer tools and inspect the local storage for this domain, you will find nothing different from what is listed above.
The three categories in the banner
Necessary
These are essential for delivering the pages and for storing your choice. They do not require consent under Article 122 of the Code, because without them the service you requested cannot be provided. They are always active and cannot be switched off in the banner.
Preferences
These improve the experience by remembering the language chosen. They are optional. If you do not accept them the website still works, it simply starts again from the default language on every visit.
Statistics
These would be used to measure page visits in aggregate form. No statistics tool is currently active on this website and the category does not save anything. We keep it visible for transparency, so that if we activate measurement in the future it will not start until you have given explicit consent.
There is no category dedicated to marketing because we do not carry out any advertising or profiling activity on this website.
Third party cookies
None. Fonts, images, style sheets and scripts all come from this website domain. There are no embedded maps, embedded videos, social sharing buttons, advertising networks or third party analytics tools.
Links to external websites, for example to the GitHub profile shown in the footer or to the Investfood SRL website, lead to domains that have their own policies. We have no control over those domains, so we invite you to read their respective policies.
How to change your choice
You can review and change your choice at any time, with no effect on browsing, using the Cookie preferences link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent for the preferences category immediately removes the saved language.
Alternatively you can delete the website data directly from your browser. The procedure differs from browser to browser and is usually found in the privacy or website data settings. Deleting it also removes the recorded consent, so the banner will be shown to you again when you return.
